A short note, tour experience of Uttar Pradesh Varanasi.

Varanasi is situated on a bend of Ganga. Here the river takes a right turn and from a distance one can notice the entire city. The city is a city of prayers. Varanasi is the oldest and most sacred place of the Indian people on the bank of the Ganga. It derived its name from two little rivers called Varuna and Asi, both of the river are joined the Ganga. Other name of the city is Kashi. From the time of Mahabharata this place as the holiest one as a seat of Lord Viswanath and as a place of meditation. There are many temples of different gods and goddesses hare.
